Long Weekend Ahead
All I can think about today is the long weekend ahead of me! It's going to a fun yet non-stressful weekend. I have my friend Kat's shower, a massage, some retail therapy, dinner with friends, and we are going to keep decorating Dylan's newish condo.
Oh yeah, this little pup is going to have a puppy play date with her BFF Bella. Bella's parents Scott and Mia are coming over for dinner on Sunday, and the pups will be able to play!
I should remember why we are blessed with a long weekend. Monday is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and I will take time to remember this remarkable man. This is one of my favorite quotes by MLK, and right now it really hits home given all that is going on in the world, "An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity."
